Overview
 


We are looking for a Consultant and Senior Consultant to help our students in the easy or hassle-free application or paperwork processing for their education seeking placement in international institutions. You will also be responsible for mentoring, providing training to fellow counsellors on product knowledge and supporting their ongoing professional development. This role will be working closely with the Team Leader and the Branch Manager to provide necessary support in client meetings, office related events, team building initiatives, etc. Excellent communication skills are essential. 


 


Responsibilities 


 


 



  • Guiding students through the complex process of studying abroad, providing support, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. 



  • Provide guidance, support, and training to consultants to ensure high-quality services. 



  • Counseling Services: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their educational goals, assess their academic background, and provide tailored advice on suitable study abroad programs. 



  • Program Knowledge: Stay updated on international education trends, admission requirements, and visa regulations for various countries to offer accurate and relevant information to students. 



  • Admissions Assistance: Assist students in the application process, including reviewing application materials, providing guidance on standardized tests, and ensuring compliance with admission requirements. 



  • Financial Guidance: Advise students on financial aspects, including tuition fees, scholarships, and budgeting for living expenses during their studies abroad. 



  • Documentation Support: Guide students through the visa application process, ensuring they have the necessary documentation and understand the legal requirements for studying in a foreign country. 



  • Event Coordination: Organize and participate in events such as workshops, seminars, and fairs to promote study abroad opportunities and provide information to prospective students. 



  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that counseling practices adhere to ethical standards, legal requirements, and industry regulations in alliance with AECC core values & business objectives. 



  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records of student interactions, track progress, and manage follow-ups. 



  • Interaction and Teamwork 



  • Provide input on marketing activities to promote AECC brand and services and work with Marketing Coordinator to coordinate the advertisements on community newspapers and websites. 



  • Work with Marketing Manager & Team Leaders to develop relationships and projects with Institution representatives. 


 


 


 


Requirements & Skills 


 



  • Bachelor (or above) qualification 



  • Strong knowledge of destination and local education systems 



  • 3+ years counselling experience preferably in the education industry 



  • Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines. 



  • Visible orientation towards having high quality service as integral part of work ethics. 



  • Computer skills including Word, Excel and familiarity with CRM platform preferred. 



  • Excellent communication skills 



  • Strong problem resolution skills
