Job Description - Content Writer


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Content Writer in India.


This role is focused on creating high-quality, insight-driven content that helps translate complex business and finance topics into clear, engaging, and trustworthy narratives. You will be part of a fast-moving marketing environment where ideas are rapidly turned into published content across multiple channels, including blogs, LinkedIn, Substack, and video scripts. The position requires strong research skills and the ability to go deep into unfamiliar or technical subjects, ensuring accuracy and credibility in every piece. You will play a key role in maintaining a high editorial bar while supporting scalable content production. The environment is remote-first, collaborative, and highly autonomous, with a strong emphasis on ownership and intellectual rigor. This is an opportunity to shape content that directly influences how finance leaders understand and adopt modern software solutions.


Accountabilities:



  • Research and transform complex ideas and technical topics into clear, structured, and engaging content tailored for a finance and business audience.

  • Write and adapt content across multiple formats, including blog posts, LinkedIn posts, Substack articles, and YouTube scripts.

  • Conduct deep research on finance and business-related subjects to ensure accuracy, depth, and credibility in all published material.

  • Support the scaling of content output while maintaining a consistently high editorial and quality standard.

  • Evaluate content performance by analyzing engagement, readability, and distribution impact, and apply learnings to future work.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to align content with broader growth and storytelling goals.

  • Continuously refine tone, structure, and messaging to resonate with a sophisticated, time-constrained business audience.


Requirements:



  • 1–3 years of experience in content writing, editing, or a similar editorial role.

  • Exceptional written English with strong command over clarity, structure, tone, and storytelling.

  • Strong research skills with the ability to deeply understand and write about unfamiliar, technical, or finance-related topics.

  • Curiosity and interest in business, finance, and B2B software, with the ability to consistently engage with complex subject matter.

  • Strong editorial judgment, with the ability to distinguish high-quality insights from surface-level content.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple content priorities independently.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, and collaborative environment.

  • Strong motivation to grow a long-term career in marketing and content strategy.
