Job Summary:
The Senior Manager – Revenue Cycle Managed Services is responsible for overseeing end-to-end revenue cycle operations for healthcare provider clients. This role ensures efficient management of revenue cycle services including patient access, billing, coding, charge capture, accounts receivable (A/R), and collections. The Senior Manager leads service delivery teams, ensures client satisfaction, drives process improvement, and supports financial performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering high-quality services.
Conduct regular client review meetings to present KPIs, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily operations of revenue cycle services, ensuring SLA compliance and quality standards.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) to achieve operational excellence.
Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce denials, days in A/R, and cost to collect.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute strategic plans to improve revenue cycle performance and client satisfaction.
Partner with technology and analytics teams to implement automation, reporting tools, and system enhancements.
Performance Management:
Monitor key revenue cycle metrics (e.g., cash collections, denial rates, aging, DNFB, bad debt).
Develop dashboards and reporting tools for internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze trends and drive data-driven decision-making.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, payer requirements).
Implement QA processes to monitor accuracy and compliance in billing and collections activities.
