Cost Accountant – QBO ERP

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliations within QBO ERP.
  

• Prepare and review financial statements, cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  

• Track, monitor, and analyze cost allocations, inventory valuation, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
  

• Assist in the development of cost standards, profitability analysis, and performance reporting.
  

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all accounting entries and reports.
  

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, audits, and tax compliance.
  

• Collaborate with operations and management teams to provide cost insights and recommend process improvements.
  

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant with hands-on expertise in QBO ERP.
  

• Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
  

• Solid knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  

• Advanced Excel and analytical skills to prepare detailed financial models and cost reports.
  

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CMA/CA/CPA) is a plus.
