As a Data Analytics & Visualization Tax Managed Services Associate, you will play a pivotal role in helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will apply a learning mindset and take ownership of your development, appreciate diverse perspectives, and adopt habits to sustain performance. You will actively listen, ask questions to check understanding, and clearly express ideas, all while gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns.

To be successful, you should have the following: 

• A qualification in information systems (or similar) and [2-5] years’ experience working in the area of data transformation, data visualisation and analytics. You will ideally have experience in applying this in a tax or finance context. 

• Alternatively, you could have an accounting, tax or finance qualification with experience leveraging data transformation and visualisation technology. 

• Must have knowledge, experience and capability in the following areas: 

• Excel including VBA and PowerQuery  

• Developing ETL solutions using Alteryx 

• Building visualization using PowerBi and/or Tableau 

• Experience in the following areas would be highly favourable:  

• Python 

• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power FX, Power Automate) 

• Extracting data from databases (using SQL)  

You should also: 

• have a natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work; 

• be comfortable presenting ideas to colleagues and clients; 

• be intellectually curious and naturally interested in new business technologies; and 

• have good written and verbal communication skills.
