Data Architect

• Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of data analytics solutions on Azure, including data lakes, data warehouses, data integration pipelines, and Databricks.
  


• Azure Expertise: Utilize Azure services such as Microsoft Fabrics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Machine Learning to build end-to-end data analytics solutions.
  


• Estimation & RFP Response :Proven ability to analyse and interpret customer requirements from RFP documents and supporting information.
  


• Skilled in identifying gaps and asking relevant, targeted questions to clarify requirements. Capable of proposing high-level solutions and architectural approaches aligned with customer needs. Experienced in estimating effort, timeline, and cost based on industry standards and technical scope, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives
  


• Data Modeling: Develop and implement data models, ETL processes, and data integration solutions to ensure data is clean, accurate, and available for analysis.
  


• Performance Optimization: Optimize data storage and processing for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  


• Governance and Security: Ensure that data solutions adhere to best practices for data governance, security, and compliance, including implementing role-based access control and encryption.
  


• Documentation: Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and best practices guides for data analytics solutions.
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  


• Experience: 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data analytics, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  


• Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark.
  


• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  


• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  


• Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks or similar are highly desirable.
