This partnership is a unique, industry-first model which brings together the best of in-house and 3rd party capability. \nWe work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal. \n#VOIS #BeUnrivalled #CreateTheFuture\n\n## About this Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced data and platform operations professional to support, operate, and continuously improve enterprise-scale scheduling, ETL, database, and cloud platforms. This role focuses on L2/L3 operational support, root cause analysis, and stakeholder collaboration across complex data warehouse and cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on reliability, prioritisation, and service excellence.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nOperate and support enterprise scheduling tools such as Control\u2011M and other job schedulers. \nProvide L2/L3 operational support for ETL platforms including Ab Initio, SAP BODS, and Informatica. \nPerform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and deep\u2011dive investigations across data and platform tools. \nManage broken job recovery, error handling, and proactive issue resolution. \nMaintain and analyse error logs to identify patterns and improvement opportunities. \nWork extensively with UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting. \nDevelop and support SQL and PL/SQL solutions across enterprise databases. \nSupport Teradata platforms and data warehouse environments. \nApply data warehousing and ETL best practices to ensure stability and performance. \nFollow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management. \nCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritise urgent and high\u2011impact issues effectively. \nParticipate in on\u2011call and weekend support rotations to ensure service continuity. \nContribute to DevOps and cloud\u2011based operational practices, including GCP and OCI environments.\n\n## Who you are\n\nA graduate or postgraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. \nAn experienced professional with 8+ years in development and operations roles. \nStrong hands\u2011on experience with: \nScheduling tools (minimum 5 years). \nUNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting (minimum 5 years). \nSQL and PL/SQL (minimum 5 years). \nTeradata (minimum 3 years). \nSolid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL architectures. \nProven experience in cloud architecture and migration, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Exadata. \nKnowledgeable in DevOps practices and tools, with exposure to Ansible, Jenkins, and containerisation using Docker. \nFamiliar with GCP operations and agile ways of working. \nCertified or working towards certification in GCP and/or OCI. \nA clear communicator who can work calmly under pressure and collaborate across teams.\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
