DE&A - Core - Advanced Visualization & Cloud Reporting - Power BI

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Admin/Developer to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) team within Data Platform Department. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong expertise in Power BI along with hands-on experience in Qlik Sense/Qlik Cloud. This role focuses on building enterprise-grade dashboards, driving visualization standards, supporting self-service analytics, and enabling business teams with scalable reporting solutions.

The position offers an opportunity to work across multiple business domains, contribute to BI governance initiatives, and help shape the organization's analytics landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI 

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. 
• Build and optimize semantic models using star schema design principles. 
• Develop efficient DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs. 
• Create reusable Power Query (M) transformations. 
• Optimize performance of reports and troubleshoot bottlenecks. 
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace security. 
• Publish, manage, and monitor Power BI workspaces and deployments. 
• Support report lifecycle management through Dev/Test/Production environments. 
• Follow enterprise BI standards, naming conventions, and best practices. 

Qlik 

• Develop and maintain Qlik Sense/Qlik Cloud applications. 
• Design data models and scripting for efficient data loading. 
• Build intuitive dashboards and analytical applications
• Build automated reports for business stakeholders 
• Optimize application performance and reload schedules. 
• Troubleshoot data refresh and visualization issues. 
• Support migration and coexistence of Power BI and Qlik reporting solutions where required. 

CoE Responsibilities

• Promote BI development standards and governance. 
• Administer Power BI & Qlik platform.
• Review dashboards for usability, performance, and adherence to best practices. 
• Support business users with analytics requirements and self-service enablement. 
• Create technical documentation and knowledge articles. 

Evaluate and adopt new BI features and capabilities
