Job Description - Demand Generation head

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 3500000 (ie INR 20-35 LPA)

Min Experience: 8+ years

Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad

JobType: full-time

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Demand Generation to lead and scale our demand generation and lead acquisition efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive pipeline growth, generate qualified leads, and support revenue objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Demand Generation, Lead Generation, and Inside Sales, with the ability to align marketing and sales initiatives to maximize conversion and business growth.

The Head of Demand Generation will work closely with leadership, sales, marketing, and business development teams to build high-performing campaigns, optimize funnel performance, and establish scalable lead generation processes. Experience in staffing sales or workforce solutions will be an added advantage.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a data-driven demand generation strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline growth.
  • Design and manage multi-channel lead generation campaigns across digital marketing, email marketing, content marketing, social media, webinars, events, and outbound outreach.
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing demand generation and inside sales teams.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define lead qualification criteria, service-level agreements (SLAs), and conversion strategies.
  • Establish and optimize lead nurturing programs to improve prospect engagement and accelerate the buyer journey.
  • Oversee inside sales operations, ensuring effective outreach, lead follow-up, and appointment-setting processes.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze funnel metrics, and implement continuous improvements to maximize ROI.
  • Leverage marketing automation, CRM platforms, and analytics tools to track performance and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives targeting strategic customers and high-value prospects.
  • Create forecasting models and pipeline reports to provide visibility into demand generation performance and revenue impact.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and business stakeholders to develop compelling value propositions and messaging.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging demand generation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in Demand Generation and pipeline development strategies.
  • Proven experience in Lead Generation, including inbound and outbound lead acquisition programs.
  • Extensive experience managing and scaling Inside Sales teams and processes.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving lead, opportunity, and revenue growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
  • Expertise in campaign analytics, conversion optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in Staffing Sales, recruitment solutions, workforce management, or talent acquisition services.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales cycles within staffing, consulting, IT services, or professional services industries.
  • Exposure to account-based marketing and enterprise sales environments.

Preferred Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, Lead Generation, Inside Sales, or Revenue Operations roles.
  • Proven track record of building scalable demand generation engines and driving measurable business growth.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
