Denodo Developer_6+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Denodo Developer with 6+ years of IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Denodo Data Virtualization. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise data virtualization solutions, integrating multiple data sources, and building semantic data layers for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data virtualization solutions using Denodo.


• Create and maintain Base Views, Derived Views, Joins, Unions, Interfaces, and Data Services.


• Integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata, DB2, MySQL, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.


• Develop business, semantic, and logical data layers to support reporting and analytics.


• Perform Denodo performance tuning, query optimization, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.


• Configure and manage Denodo VDP, Scheduler, Solution Manager, and Monitoring components.


• Implement Denodo security using LDAP/Active Directory, SSL, SSO, RBAC, SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.


• Support Denodo deployments, migrations, upgrades, and high-availability configurations.


• Expose virtualized data through APIs/Data Services and integrate with BI platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.


• Develop and maintain CI/CD-based deployment processes using version control and automation tools.


• Work closely with data engineering, BI, application, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.


• Monitor production environments and resolve performance, connectivity, and data-related issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Denodo experience.


• Strong expertise in Denodo 7.x / 8.x / 9.x.


• Solid understanding of Data Virtualization concepts and architecture.


• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.


• Good understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.


• Experience integrating Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata, DB2, and MySQL.


• Experience with REST API integration and Data Services.


• Hands-on experience with Denodo Scheduler and Solution Manager.


• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring.


• Understanding of Linux/Unix administration.


• Knowledge of LDAP/AD, SSL, SAML, OAuth, Kerberos, SSO, and Role-Based Access Control.


• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments.


• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Denodo High Availability and Disaster Recovery.


• Experience in Denodo migration and version upgrades.


• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data architecture.


• Experience working in enterprise production environments.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
