Job Description - Deputy Manager - SQE, E&E

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

- Provide support and involvement in new product development of Electrical & electronics components especially Infotainment , Instrument Clusters & Sensors - Identifying & driving improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP.
- Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and Product.
- Monitor supplier performance, supplier audits and Corrective Action Plan (SCAP) / G8D etc.
- Collaboration - Work closely with cross functional teams to address quality issues and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Ensure lessons learned from product families are shared with platform team for new product development as input for prevention of known issues.
- Daily work management - Daily concern status tracking, Monthly performance monitoring, Timely Analysis of concern.
Develop and ensure implementation of Systems at supplier end:
- Conduct supplier audits and verify compliance with specification and industry standards
- Investigate and resolve quality related issues in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams by using Systematic Approach & Problem solving tools (Six Sigma, QC Story etc.)
- Evaluation of performance and monitor the improvement plan through enhancing technical capabilities and knowledge.

Experience

5 to 10 yrs

Qualifications

BE/B Tech - Electrical & Electronics, Automobile / Mechanical Engg , Mechatronics.

General Requirements

• Strong understanding of product and manufacturing process of automotive Electronics and Components- Sensors , ECUs , Infotainment, Cluster, Body control Module, Battery , DC-DC Converters etc
• Manufacturing process knowledge for Electronics ( Surface Mount Technology ) , Wave Soldering , Other soldering process, Injection Moulding , Surface Treatment , Assembly etc
• Prefererable to have process knowledge and product application knowledge of Electronics Manufactruing , ECU , Sensors , Infotainment , Switches, clusters etc.
• Experience in Manufacturing process development, process audits, quality/problem solving tools, APQP/PPAP
• Problem solving methodology through Six Sigma / QC Story is preferable.
• Daily Work management and collaborative work with Plant CFT & Suppliers.
