Dermatologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Assistant Professor in Dermatology to join our academic and clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching medical students, managing dermatological cases, performing procedures, and contributing to research and departmental development in accordance with NMC norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/Diploma) students in Dermatology.
  

• Conduct theory classes, clinical postings, case discussions, and practical demonstrations.
  

• Examine and treat patients in OPD, IPD, and procedure rooms (chemical peels, biopsies, laser therapy, etc.).
  

• Guide and mentor residents and interns in clinical work and academic progress.
  

• Engage in research projects, thesis guidance, and paper publications.
  

• Assist in curriculum development, exam duties, and departmental meetings.
  

• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and medical ethics.
  

Qualifications:

• MBBS + MD/DNB in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (DVL) from an NMC-recognized institution.
  

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident in Dermatology.
  

• Must be registered with NMC or the respective State Medical Council.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in diagnosing and treating skin, hair, and nail disorders
  

• Proficiency in dermatologic procedures (lasers, dermatosurgery, cryotherapy, etc.)
  

• Strong communication, teaching, and presentation skills
  

• Patient-centric approach and team collaboration
