Design Engineer

• Develop design concepts, specifications, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  
• Perform stress analysis and understand mechanics of materials under static and dynamic loads
  
• Execute mechanical designs using CAD/CAM and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
  
• Conduct simulations and virtual testing to refine designs
  
• Collaborate with cross -functional teams including manufacturing and product management
  
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and reports.
  
• Research and implement new design methods and technologies
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution
  
• 3 -6 Years years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in heavy engineering or material handling 
  equipment
  
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and simulation tools
  
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, welding symbols, sheet metal, and weldment design, Hydraulic Systems
  
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and structural design
  
• Excellent analytical, problem -solving, and critical thinking skills
  
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
  
• Self -motivated with attention to detail and initiative
  
• SAP Knowledge will be added advantage
