Digital Solution Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the operating model to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Digital Platform team and its interactions with different stakeholders. Each day, you will deploy and maintain the digital platform components, including integration, testing, and supporting. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring applications and services deployed in production and act on issues to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Service division at Nashik, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contributing to ensure that all the operational processes are executed and implemented efficiently across the entire platform.

• Processing platform optimizations and business growth independently through continuous technical development.

• Creating a DevOps ‘continuous integration’ capability, in the way the platform is developed and integrated with apps.

• Assisting with the analysis of existing performance, seeking opportunities to enhance offerings, making recommendations underpinned by data and customer driven insights.

• Design, develop, and maintain digital applications to advance manufacturing
  digitalization initiatives.

• Manage and optimize enterprise databases, ensuring high availability,
  performance, and security.

• Build intuitive and user-friendly front-end interfaces for dashboards, portals, and IoT-enabled solutions.

• Develop Python-based scripts and automation tools for efficient data processing and integration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Industry 4.0 and IoT
  solutions.

• Ensure strict compliance with data governance and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in developing, supporting, and maintaining industrial digital platforms and interfaces.

• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, schema design, performance optimization, and database management.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js), along with Python programming and API development.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and integration solutions.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, automation workflows, and data analytics, with proven ability to manage and support digital platforms.

• You are at ease communicating in English

• This position is offered on a 1-year contract basis.
