Position: India Domestic Tax Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $55–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Short-term engagement
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review Indian tax research questions and model answers to ensure accuracy and depth.
• Validate statutory interpretation and supporting authorities to improve technical accuracy.
• Update answers based on recent legislative developments in Indian domestic tax law.
• Refine grading rubrics to enhance clarity and precision.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5+ years of Indian tax experience.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), Advocate, Cost Accountant, or equivalent tax qualification.
• Deep expertise in Indian domestic taxation.
• Experience interpreting the Income-tax Act, GST legislation, CBDT circulars, and judicial precedents.
• Experience preparing tax opinions, litigation support, or advisory memoranda.
• Strong written communication skills.
