We are looking for an Electrician to support industrial automation projects through control panel wiring, machine/site electrical installation, commissioning support, and troubleshooting. The role also includes basic computer usage for reporting and inventory/material tracking to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Wire and assemble industrial control panels (PLC/VFD/power & control panels) as per drawings.
Perform crimping, ferruling, cable dressing, labeling, and routing inside panel ducts.
Wire components: MCB/MCCB, contactors, relays, overload, SMPS, terminals, push buttons, indicators.
Do continuity checks, polarity checks (where applicable), and pre\-power\-on verification.
Handle site installation: cable pulling, termination, conduit/tray routing, motor wiring, sensor wiring.
Support commissioning activities: IO point\-to\-point checks, power\-on checks, fault finding.
Troubleshoot electrical issues such as short/open wiring, loose terminals, wrong connections, blown fuses/MCB, grounding issues.
Maintain work quality with clean wiring standards, documentation discipline, and safety compliance.
Update job progress/checklists using Excel/Google Sheets or company formats.
Track and record material usage: issue/return/consumption of wires, terminals, ferrules, lugs, sensors, consumables.
Coordinate with engineers/supervisors for technical clarifications and timely completion
Education
ITI Electrician preferred (Diploma Electrical is a plus).
Strong hands\-on skills will be considered even if education differs.
Experience
0â1 / 1â3 / 3â5+ years (choose your range) in industrial electrical / panel wiring / machine wiring.
Site installation/commissioning experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills (Must\-Have)
Knowledge of AC/DC basics, single\-phase & three\-phase wiring.
Good understanding of MCB/MCCB, fuses, contactors, relays, overload relay, SMPS, terminal blocks.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and terminal plans and execute work accordingly.
Excellent workmanship in ferruling, lug crimping, labeling, cable dressing, gland/duct fitting.
Confident troubleshooting using a multimeter (voltage + continuity).
Basic understanding of earthing/grounding and safe wiring practices.
Computer Skills (Must\-Have)
Basic Windows usage: folders, file naming, sharing documents/photos.
Able to update checklists and reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
Comfortable using Email / WhatsApp for reporting, coordination, and sharing site updates.
Able to view drawings in PDF and follow them correctly.
Inventory / Material Skills (Must\-Have)
Ability to identify common electrical parts by spec (wire sizes, terminals, relays, sensors).
Record material issue/return/usage for jobs (Excel/ERP/Zoho Inventory if applicable).
Raise accurate material requests with correct specification and quantity.
Maintain basic store discipline: labeling, sorting, avoiding wastage.
Safety & Work Discipline (Mandatory)
Follows electrical safety procedures: isolation, PPE, safe testing practices.
Willingness to work at client sites and travel as required.
Good teamwork, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.

Exposure to PLC panels, VFD wiring (power + control basics).
