About the Role

Panchshil Realty is seeking an experienced PHE & Fire Fighting Design Engineer to lead the design review, coordination, and optimization of Public Health Engineering and Fire Fighting systems across premium real estate developments.

The role will be responsible for managing consultants, driving value engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with NBC and statutory requirements, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle from concept design to execution.

What You Will Do

PHE Design Management

• Review and coordinate designs for water supply, drainage, sewerage, storm water, rainwater harvesting, STP/WTP, and pumping systems


• Validate hydraulic calculations, water demand assessments, tank sizing, and technical specifications


• Drive value engineering, system standardization, and design optimization across projects


• Review BOQs, material specifications, and vendor submittals

Fire Fighting Design & Compliance

• Review designs for hydrant, sprinkler, wet riser, fire pump, fire water storage, and associated fire protection systems


• Ensure compliance with NBC guidelines, IS Codes, and local fire authority requirements


• Coordinate Fire NOC approvals and support statutory compliance processes


• Resolve technical design challenges and execution-related issues

Consultant & Project Coordination

• Manage MEP, Fire, and PHE consultants from concept stage through GFC and as-built documentation


• Conduct design review meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical queries


• Coordinate with architectural, structural, liaison, and execution teams to ensure design feasibility


• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and technical deviations

Commercial & Technical Support

• Support BOQ preparation, technical bid evaluations, and cost optimization exercises


• Provide technical inputs for procurement and project teams


• Prepare technical reports, design notes, and value engineering recommendations

What You Bring

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering


• 10–15 years of experience in PHE & Fire Fighting Design within reputed MEP consultancies or real estate developers


• Strong expertise in water supply, drainage, fire protection, hydraulic calculations, and statutory compliance


• Thorough knowledge of NBC, IS Codes, and local authority requirements


• Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Revit and BIM coordination preferred


• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, or township developments


• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
