Job Description - English and Social Studies teacher for Primary Section

- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in teaching English and Social Studies to primary school students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Develop and implement age -appropriate lesson plans for English and Social Studies subjects.
- Teach fundamental language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening..
- Introduce students to various literary genres and historical concepts, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Create interactive and hands -on learning activities to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and class participation, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross -curricular themes and activities into the curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of students' grades and behavior.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events as required.

Requirements

Required Qualifications - D.Ed.

Required Skills - Classroom management,lesson planning, problem solving, communication.
