Description The Executive-Maintenance will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing maintenance strategies for the plant's critical systems and equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical, boiler, utility, ammonia, and compressor maintenance to ensure the plant's smooth operation and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for boilers, utilities, mechanical systems, ammonia, and compressors to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to align maintenance activities with operational goals and schedules.
Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and optimizing maintenance processes for efficiency.
Supervise the execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory for effective planning and decision-making.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies to enhance plant performance and reliability.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, ensuring quality and timely execution of projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, preferably in the beverage or food processing industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, with expertise in boiler, utility, and ammonia maintenance.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a maintenance team.
Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for maintenance planning and record-keeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make timely decisions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues.
Familiarity with safety regulations and standards applicable to the beverage industry.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required by maintenance schedules.
