Based in Mumbai, Rave Technologies’ end to end product/application engineering services help address challenges in the product or application development life cycle. These services include Requirement Analysis, Software Architecture, Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance with specialised services in Cloud/SaaS Migration, Usability Engineering, System Architecture and Design, and Independent Testing solutions.

Job Description

 

Role Summary:



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Executive to join our team. As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of products and services, researching and identifying cost-effective solutions, and driving bottom-line savings. You will play a key role in optimizing our procurement processes, leveraging your knowledge of the IT industry and technological advancements to bring innovative ideas and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality completion of your work. Apart from IT, you will also be responsible for other categories like office supplies, recruitment, marketing, etc

 

  1. Procurement Operations:
    • Create PRs, POs, etc in SAP and act as an administrator for procurement applications and mailbox.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technological advancements, and cost-effective alternatives for procurement.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide strategic guidance on procurement decisions.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
  1. Cost Optimization and Savings:
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
    • Evaluate existing contracts and agreements to identify areas for optimization and renegotiation.
    • Research and recommend alternative solutions and products that are more cost-effective while meeting quality and performance requirements.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to reduce maverick spend and drive overall procurement savings.
  1. Team Work and Collaboration:
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
    • Ensure timely and accurate completion of procurement activities, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and legal, to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements during the procurement process.
    • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and implement appropriate controls.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to IT procurement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement is preferable.
  • Knowledge of the IT industry, hardware and software including the latest technological developments, emerging trends, and market dynamics would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Overall Project/Task description

A junior candidate who has experience in global procurement/sourcing and has good knowledge of SAP MM. He/She will be working as an Executive, Must be fluent in English- writing and oral skills.
