Field Manager - Operations

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the overall field operations of multiple blocks assigned.
  

• Key responsibility is to assist the Sr. Field Manager in achieving the plantation and survival targets of the block.
  

• Arrange meetings with local bodies like Gram Panchayat, farmers, etc.
  

• Update and maintain the inventory system, warehouse, saplings inward and outward, and compost distribution. Maintain nursery and warehouse as per company standards.
  

• Finalize the identification of farmers/Gram Panchayat, community lands, and ensure proper documentation.
  

• Assign and report the field work of the team to the Senior Manager at regular intervals.
  

• Monitor the work of team members and support them in the field.
  

• Conduct daily planning of field operations and route planning for efficient work.
  

• Monitor drip installation work and plantation work.
  

• Maintain bills, payment vouchers, etc., of the team members and ensure transparency.
  

• Arrange daily -wage laborers for operations with the help of the team.
  

• Support the team in ground -level challenges.
  

• Assist the Sr. Manager in preparing the monthly/weekly plans.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in large -scale project management or operations.
  

• Preferably from the environmental, rural development, or sustainability sector.
  

• Experience in managing cross -functional teams.
  

• Experience in client relations.
  

• Experience in budgeting.
  

• Experience in on -ground execution.
