Finance & Accounts Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations, invoicing, payments, receivables and statutory compliance. The candidate should be capable of handling accounts independently and coordinating with Sales, Operations, customers, vendors and external accountants. Experience in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records, including receipts, payments, purchases, sales and journal entries.
  

• Prepare customer invoices, verify vendor bills and manage timely billing and payment processing.
  

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including outstanding payment follow-ups.
  

• Maintain bank records, perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring.
  

• Track job-wise revenue, costs and profitability, ensuring proper financial closure of completed jobs.
  

• Maintain GST and TDS records, assist with monthly/year-end closing and coordinate with the company’s CA and auditors.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
  

• Good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  

• Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  

• Experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding or service-based companies will be an advantage.
  

• Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, good coordination skills and the ability to work independently.
