The Opportunity

We are looking for a
Finance Lead – Noida who can provide strong financial governance while
partnering closely with the business to enable sustainable and profitable
growth.

This role will be
responsible for ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, healthy
cash flows, budget discipline, accurate reporting, working capital
optimization, and continuous improvement of finance processes.

The ideal candidate
will combine strong accounting and compliance fundamentals with commercial
understanding, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively
with multiple stakeholders.

What You Will Own

1. Financial Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure complete compliance with
    applicable statutory requirements, and organizational financial policies.

  • Drive timely and accurate statutory
    filings, returns, declarations, and supporting documentation.

  • Establish and strengthen internal
    financial controls, documentation, and audit trails.

  • Ensure readiness for internal,
    statutory, and regulatory audits and proactively close identified gaps.

2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Develop and monitor cash-flow forecasts
    to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations and planned
    commitments.

  • Manage banking and treasury operations
    effectively, including fund deployment, collections, and payment
    mechanisms.

  • Monitor working capital and proactively
    identify potential liquidity risks.

  • Build effective relationships with
    banks, advisors, and other external financial stakeholders.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Track actual expenditure against
    approved budgets and proactively highlight significant variances.

  • Partner with business teams to
    strengthen budget discipline and financial accountability.

  • Challenge non-value-adding expenditure
    and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

  • Ensure adherence to defined approval
    matrices and financial authorization controls.

4. Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly MIS
    and financial reports for management review.

  • Provide meaningful variance analysis
    against budgets, forecasts, and historical performance.

  • Translate financial information into
    actionable business insights and recommendations.

  • Support leadership in evaluating
    business decisions, opportunities, risks, and financial scenarios.

5. Accounts & Reconciliation Management

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of
    accounting records and drive timely month-end and year-end closure.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of bank
    accounts, ledgers, inter-company balances, and customer/vendor accounts.

  • Proactively identify and resolve
    discrepancies, unusual transactions, and accounting exceptions.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and
    ensure appropriate documentation.

6. Vendor Payments
& Working Capital

  • Ensure accurate and timely vendor
    payments in line with contractual terms, approvals, and cash-flow
    priorities.

  • Monitor advances and outstanding
    balances and drive timely settlement.

  • Improve the accounts payable cycle by
    eliminating bottlenecks and strengthening process controls.

  • Identify opportunities to improve
    working capital efficiency.

7. Contract & Commercial Finance Review

  • Review key commercial and financial
    terms in contracts, purchase arrangements, and business agreements.

  • Assess financial implications,
    obligations, risks, and opportunities associated with commercial
    decisions.

  • Ensure adherence to agreed payment terms
    and identify opportunities to optimize supplier and payment arrangements.

  • Evaluate financial exposure and
    recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.

8. Process Improvement & Finance Automation

  • Identify opportunities to automate
    repetitive, manual, and error-prone finance activities.

  • Drive process improvements that enhance
    accuracy, transparency, control, and turnaround time.

  • Explore and implement technology
    solutions that improve finance productivity and visibility.

  • Support integration of finance systems
    with relevant business platforms to enable seamless data flow and reduce
    manual intervention.

9. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business and functional
    teams to provide practical financial guidance and support.

  • Guide stakeholders on budgeting,
    taxation, accounting, commercial decisions, controls, and compliance.

  • Conduct structured financial reviews and
    drive accountability for agreed actions and outcomes.

  • Build strong relationships across
    functions while maintaining financial governance and discipline.

What We’re Looking For

  • CA or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in
    Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing or business
    environment.

  • Strong understanding of accounting,
    taxation, statutory compliance, audit, and financial controls.

  • Hands-on experience in cash-flow
    management, budgeting, MIS, reconciliations, and working capital
    management.

  • Good understanding of GST, TDS and other
    applicable statutory requirements.

  • Ability to analyse financial information
    and translate it into meaningful business insights.

  • Strong commercial orientation with the
    ability to challenge costs and identify value-creation opportunities.

  • Experience in process improvement,
    finance automation, or ERP/system integration will be an advantage.

  • Strong stakeholder management and
    communication skills.

  • High attention to detail, ownership,
    integrity, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Prior experience with Zoho Books is a
    plus.

  • Inclination to work with new technology
    to enable data led decision making.
