We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager – GST & SAP to manage finance and taxation operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GST compliance, SAP-based finance processes, statutory reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls. The role requires someone who can independently manage complex finance operations while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end GST operations, including GST returns, reconciliations, input tax credit, tax payments, and compliance requirements.
• Handle GST reconciliation between purchase registers, sales data, books of accounts, and GST portal records.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C and other applicable GST-related returns.
• Monitor GST compliance across manufacturing transactions, including procurement, sales, stock transfers, job work, and inter-unit transactions.
• Handle GST audits, assessments, notices, and coordinate with tax consultants and statutory authorities.
• Manage finance and accounting processes through SAP, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
• Review financial data, journal entries, provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Work closely with production, procurement, supply chain, sales, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial and tax treatment of business transactions.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, tax reports, and management dashboards.
• Identify process gaps and implement effective internal controls to improve financial accuracy and compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and other management reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and internal finance controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required financial and taxation documentation.
• Analyze tax and finance-related issues and provide practical recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and automation within SAP and other finance systems.

Manual Testing

• Perform manual testing of finance and GST-related processes, SAP workflows, reports, and system changes.
• Validate transaction flows, tax calculations, accounting entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Prepare test scenarios and test cases for finance process enhancements.
• Identify, document, and track system/process defects and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Conduct regression and user-acceptance testing for SAP finance and taxation functionalities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: 7–18 years in Finance, Accounting, GST, Taxation, or related finance operations.
• Strong experience in a manufacturing organization is essential.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Finance/Accounting modules and finance processes.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws, compliance, reconciliation, and taxation processes.
• Experience in audit coordination, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
• CA/CA Inter/CMA or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
