At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Tax Services team you understand and execute the process workflow related to Tax work requests from initiation through completion. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain elevated standards. You focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Execute and manage the workflow for tax-related requests from start to finish

- Analyze intricate issues and provide practical solutions

- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills

- Build and nurture productive client relationships

- Develop a thorough understanding of the business landscape

- Navigate complex scenarios to enhance personal and technical growth

- Uphold standards in deliverables

- Utilize critical thinking to address diverse client needs

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree

- 3 years of experience

- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Certified Public Accountant preferred

- Master's Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance preferred

- Understanding tax compliance processes and workflows

- Utilizing tax/accounting software like GoSystems and Xero

- Managing deadlines and providing timely updates

- Performing technical coaching and consulting

- Building productive client relationships

- Excelling in teamwork and collaboration

- Developing technical acumen and adaptability
