Fragrance Development Manager

• Work closely with perfumers and evaluators to translate client briefs into successful fragrance solutions.
  
• Drive the fragrance development process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with market
  trends, technical feasibility, and customer expectations.
  
• Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Production) to deliver projects
  within timeline and budget.
  
• Manage and guide fragrance submissions tailored to customer requirements, region-specific preferences,
  and regulatory standards.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their product needs, and support them with
  fragrance recommendations and modifications.
  
• Conduct competitive benchmarking, market trend analysis, and consumer insight studies.
  
• Monitor product stability, factive performance, and compatibility across various applications.
  
• Lead sensory evaluation panels and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training sessions.
  
• Support sampling logistics, documentation, and technical data sharing for customers.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fragrance families, factive profiles, and market preferences.
  
• Ability to translate marketing insights and trends into actionable fragrance strategies.
  
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Experience working with GC/MS, stability testing, and formulation support is a plus.
  
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with fragrance management systems (e.g., SAP, Scentmate,
  Oracle) is advantageous.
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, or a related field.
  
• Formal training in fragrance or perfumery (e.g., ISIPCA, Givaudan School, or internal fragrance houses)
  is a strong advantage.
  
• Prior experience in a fragrance house, FMCG, or fragrance application lab preferred.
