SQL Developer (Fresher) – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a detail -oriented SQL Developer (Fresher) to work with databases, write queries, and support data -related operations. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong basics in SQL and want to build a career in data and backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data
  
• Design, create, and maintain database tables and structures
  
• Perform data validation, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  
• Optimize queries for better performance
  
• Generate reports based on business requirements
  
• Work with developers and analysts to support data needs
  
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  
• Strong knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, Subqueries)
  
• Understanding of database concepts (tables, indexes, relationships)
  
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
  
• Familiarity with MS Excel
  
• Good analytical and problem -solving skills
  
• Attention to detail
  

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, and views
  
• Basic understanding of data analysis concepts
  
• Familiarity with Power BI / Tableau
  
• Internship or academic project experience in databases
