Fund Services. Tax Accountant

Your Role:

• 
  Provide U.S. Tax analysis of transactions
  


• 
  Handle tax reporting for investors and tax filings
  


• 
  Interface with other areas of firm
  


• 
  Participate in departmental and divisional initiatives
  


• 
  Contribute to delivery of K‐1s to investors on a timely basis
  


• 
  Provide global analysis of transactions
  


• 
  Assist in special projects as necessary
  

About You:

• 
  Have prior tax and financial services experience a plus
  


• 
  Strong software skills
  


• 
  Proficient in MS Excel; comfortable with formulas, should understand the basics of macros and pivot tables, and be able to navigate and understand workbooks
  


• 
  Intuitive feel and quick to learn various software applications
  


• 
  Hedge fund experience is a plus
  


• 
  Experience in US/Australian Tax compliance experience on hedge funds/private equity funds is a plus
  


• 
  Strong attention to detail
  


• 
  Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
  


• 
  Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects
  


• 
  Proactive attitude
