Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled GL Accountant with 5 to 8 years of experience to manage the general ledger accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support month -end and year -end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  
• Assist in month -end and year -end closing activities.
  
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
  
• Analyze and report on financial variances.
  
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
  
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Maintain accurate and up -to -date records for all GL transactions.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 5 to 8 years of hands -on experience in general ledger accounting.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally ).
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis.
  
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  
• Strong communication and problem -solving abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
