Job Description - General surgeon

Qualification: MS / DNB in General Surgery

Experience: Minimum 4 years as Assistant Professor + 2 research publications (as per NMC norms)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee UG & PG teaching, surgical skill labs, and academic evaluations
Supervise OT, ward rounds, and post -op management
Lead a surgical unit and handle complex surgical cases independently
Guide PG students in thesis, seminars, and journal writing
Participate in MLC handling, internal audits, and clinical governance
Mentor junior faculty and contribute to institutional academic leadership

Key Skills: Laparoscopic Surgery, minimal
access surgery, robotic surgery, Laparoscopy, General Surgery, Trauma surgery,
Organ transplantation,

Colorectal surgery, Gastrectomy, Appendectomy, Hernia
