Job Description - General Surgeon

Posting Title: General Surgeon

Salary: ₹3.5–4 LPM

Work Experience: 1+ year.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/MD in General Surgery)
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a valid license to practice
Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting
Demonstrated proficiency in common general surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and bowel resections
Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills under pressure
Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues
Willingness to be on call and participate in emergency surgical duties as required
