A leading healthcare provider in India, Devdort delivers high-acuity surgical care across urban and semi-urban centers, with a focus on emergency, trauma, and elective general surgery. Our multidisciplinary teams operate with advanced infrastructure, evidence-based protocols, and a patient-first ethos to drive clinical excellence and surgical outcomes. We are expanding our surgical department to include top-tier General Surgeons who thrive in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments.

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures including appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, thyroidectomy, and trauma surgery with precision and efficiency.


• Lead pre-op evaluations, intra-op decision-making, and post-op recovery planning across emergency and elective cases.


• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and ICU teams to ensure seamless surgical workflow and patient safety protocols.


• Document surgical findings, maintain accurate procedure logs, and comply with hospital audit and regulatory standards.


• Mentor junior residents and surgical trainees while participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives.


• Respond promptly to surgical emergencies, including acute abdominal pathologies and trauma cases, as part of the on-call rotation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MBBS


• MS in General Surgery


• DNB General Surgery


• FMAS


• LMF


• ACLS


• Basic Life Support (BLS)


• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Preferred

• Experience in laparoscopic and minimal-access surgery


• Previous work in high-volume trauma centers


• Membership in Indian Association of Surgeons (IAS)
