Graphic & UI UX designer

As a Graphic & UI UX Designer (with Video Editing
Skills) at SKO Systems, you will support both product and communication design
needs within the Cruise Application ecosystem. This role focuses primarily on
graphic and UI UX design, with additional responsibility for basic video
creation and editing. 

You will collaborate closely with Senior designer,
developers, and Documentation team to ensure consistent, visually appealing,
and brand -aligned outputs across digital platforms. 

Essential Functions / Deliverables

Graphic Design Execution – Create high -quality visuals
for internal and external communication such as ID cards, festival posts, new
joiner posts, and promotional creatives. Maintain visual consistency aligned
with company brand guidelines.  

UI UX Design & Collaboration – Perform
requirement -based UI/UX edits, updates, and enhancements. Occasionally design
new screens from scratch for web or mobile platforms. Collaborate with product
designers to refine layout, color, and visual hierarchy for improved
usability.  

Video Editing & Motion Design – Perform basic video
editing tasks for product walkthroughs, explainer videos, and feature highlight
clips. Animate simple transitions or UI elements to visually communicate app
interactions or updates. 

Collaboration with Cross -functional Teams – Work with
developers, product managers, BA’s, Documentation Team and HR team to support
design requirements for product communication, onboarding visuals, and internal
culture posts.  

Brand & Asset Management – Maintain organized design
files, reusable templates, and component libraries for design efficiency.
Ensure proper file naming, structure, and cross -team accessibility.  

Presentation & Communication Skills – Present
concepts and design choices to internal teams. Explain design rationale and
receive feedback constructively  

HTML/CSS/JS Knowledge (Bonus Skill) – Basic understanding
to work collaboratively with frontend developers 

Excel & PowerPoint Proficiency (Added Advantage) –
Document findings, user research insights, or roadmap items for stakeholder
meetings 

Requirements

Education: Degree or diploma in Design,
Visual Arts, or related field Graphic Design, Visual Communication, UI/UX
Design, or related discipline

Certifications: Not mandatory, but
certifications in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Motion Graphics are a
plus  

Required Years and Area of Professional Experience
:  

2–3 years of experience in Graphic Design or UI UX Design
with basic video editing exposure.

Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer
Skills : 

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and
Figma 
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects/ Premiere Pro / or Any Video Editing
tool 
• Understanding of UI UX fundamentals and visual design principles 
• Familiarity with responsive layouts and design consistency. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, and
layout 
• Basic motion design understanding 
• Ability to work efficiently across multiple design formats (static and
video) 
• Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
