Job Description: Graphic Designer

Role Summary

A reputed residential CBSE school at Nainital is looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer to support the school's branding, communication, promotional, and day-to-day design requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a strong creative approach, good visual sense, and hands-on experience in designing content for social media, digital platforms, print materials, school events, and promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing designs for the school's digital and print communication.
  
• Design creatives for social media posts, reels, banners, brochures, posters, invitations, certificates, and other promotional materials.
  
• Develop creative content for school events, annual functions, admission campaigns, celebrations, and activities.
  
• Work closely with the school management and relevant departments to understand design requirements.
  
• Create graphics and visual content aligned with the school's branding guidelines.
  
• Edit and enhance photographs and other visual materials as required.
  
• Support the digital marketing and communication team with regular creative requirements.
  
• Prepare designs in appropriate formats for both digital and print use.
  
• Manage multiple design assignments while meeting deadlines.
  
• Maintain consistency in fonts, layouts, colours, imagery, and overall visual presentation.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related discipline will be preferred.
  
• Relevant experience as a Graphic Designer will be preferred.
  
• Strong working knowledge of graphic designing and image-editing software.
  
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Canva, or equivalent design software.
  
• Good understanding of typography, colour combinations, layouts, and visual composition.
  
• Knowledge of basic video editing and motion graphics will be an added advantage.
  
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
  
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain design quality.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
  
• Candidates willing to work in a residential school environment at Nainital will be preferred.

• Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
