Gynecologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations and patient consultations to assess reproductive health and identify medical concerns.
  
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including D&C, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Oophorectomy, Tubal Ligation, and Pelvic Floor Repair.
  
• Provide expert care in normal vaginal deliveries and Cesarean Sections, ensuring maternal and neonatal safety.
  
• Carry out minimally invasive surgeries such as Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy for diagnosis and treatment of gynecological disorders.
  
• Manage fibroid and ovarian cyst surgeries with precision and adherence to clinical best practices.
  
• Diagnose and treat infertility conditions, including coordination with fertility specialists and managing IVF protocols.
  
• Perform routine and diagnostic procedures including Pap Smear and Colposcopy to detect cervical abnormalities and prevent gynecological cancers.
  
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional documentation standards.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver holistic care and coordinate patient follow-ups.
  
• Stay current with evolving medical guidelines, research, and technological advancements in gynecology.
  

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO/MD/DM or equivalent).
  
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
  
• Hands-on experience in performing D&C, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Oophorectomy, Tubal Ligation, and Pelvic Floor Repair.
  
• Proficiency in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques, including diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
  
• Demonstrated competency in managing normal vaginal deliveries and Cesarean Sections.
  
• Experience in fibroid and cyst surgery, including pre- and post-operative care.
  
• Familiarity with infertility management protocols, including IVF cycle coordination and patient counseling.
  
• Strong skills in Pap Smear and Colposcopy interpretation and follow-up.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling abilities.
  
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
  
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapt to rotating shifts and on-call duties.
