Job Title: Gypsum Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

Install gypsum boards, drywall, and partition systems as per project requirements.
Construct false ceilings, wall partitions, and decorative gypsum structures.
Measure, cut, and fix gypsum boards accurately.
Install metal frames, channels, studs, and supporting structures.
Perform gypsum ceiling and partition finishing work.
Carry out joint filling, sanding, and surface preparation for painting.
Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and layouts.
Ensure proper alignment, level, and finishing of gypsum installations.
Repair and modify existing gypsum structures when required.
Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors.
Follow site safety rules and company procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Gypsum Carpenter.
Experience in construction, interior, or fit-out projects preferred.
Good knowledge of gypsum board installation, false ceilings, and partition work.
Ability to use carpentry and gypsum installation tools.
Ability to understand basic drawings and measurements.
Good attention to detail and finishing quality.
Physically fit and willing to work at construction/project sites.
