Machine Operator (Machine Shop)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and grinders.
  
• Perform machine setup, alignment, and calibration prior to production runs.
  
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions accurately.
  
• Machine parts and components to precise dimensional tolerances as per specifications.
  
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products using measuring instruments (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers).
  
• Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive checks on equipment.
  
• Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors on time.
  

• Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
  
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of hands -on experience as a Machine Operator in a machine shop or industrial setting.
  
• Gulf experience is preferred.
  
• Proven experience operating manual or CNC -controlled machining equipment.
  
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and using precision measuring tools.
  
• Strong technical understanding of machining processes and shop floor tools.
  
• Basic English proficiency; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
