Manage the acquisition, cataloging, classification, and maintenance of library materials (books, journals, e -resources, multimedia, and digital databases).
Implement and maintain library management systems (e.g., Koha, LibSys, or similar) to ensure efficient resource tracking and access.
Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, including training in information retrieval and digital literacy.
Develop and deliver information literacy workshops and orientation sessions for new students and faculty.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) or equivalent; Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) is preferred.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a library setting, preferably within an educational institution or technical college.
Proficiency in library management software (e.g., Koha, LibSys, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
