Job Description - Hiring || WebSphere Admin Professionals - Mumbai

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WebSphere Administrator or WebSphere Application Server Support professional with a minimum of two years of hands -on experience in managing WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and security of enterprise -level web applications. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, RDBMS operations, and internet -based application architecture, along with the ability to respond promptly to system alerts. This position requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including nights and holidays, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non -technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high availability and operational efficiency across critical systems.

Responsibilities:

Manage and support WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server environments.
Monitor system performance and respond to alerts from monitoring tools.
Perform daily operational activities related to RDBMS and system maintenance.
Support system backups and recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, configuration, and server health.
Collaborate with cross -functional teams to ensure seamless application delivery and uptime.
Maintain documentation for configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
Adapt to shift work, including night shifts and holidays, as required.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of hands -on experience with WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server.
Solid understanding of operating system server functionality across multiple platforms.
Basic knowledge of RDBMS and ability to perform routine database operations.
Foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking and backup systems.
Familiarity with internet -based application architecture and deployment models.
Proficient in English (verbal and written) for effective communication.
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non -technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a quick learning mindset.
