Job Description: Housekeeping Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operations of a luxury resort in Ramnagar,
Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in 5 -star
hotels or luxury resorts, with a strong focus on maintaining exceptional
cleanliness standards, guest comfort, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will oversee all housekeeping
functions, ensure impeccable presentation of guest rooms and public areas, and
lead the housekeeping team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations

• Manage
  the overall housekeeping department, including guest rooms, villas, public
  areas, and back -of -house facilities.
  
• Ensure
  rooms and public spaces consistently meet luxury hospitality standards.
  
• Conduct
  regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic
  presentation.
  
• Coordinate
  with the Front Office and Engineering departments to ensure seamless guest
  service.
  

Team Management

• Recruit,
  train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
  
• Prepare
  staff schedules and duty rosters.
  
• Conduct
  regular training on SOPs, hygiene standards, and guest service.
  
• Monitor
  staff grooming, productivity, and performance.
  

Inventory & Cost Control

• Manage
  housekeeping inventory, linen, uniforms, guest supplies, and cleaning
  equipment.
  
• Monitor
  departmental expenses and ensure cost -effective resource utilization.
  
• Coordinate
  with vendors for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  

Guest Satisfaction

• Ensure
  timely room readiness and guest requests are handled efficiently.
  
• Address
  guest concerns related to housekeeping with professionalism and
  promptness.
  
• Maintain
  high guest satisfaction scores through consistent service excellence.
  

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure
  adherence to hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.
  
• Implement
  and monitor housekeeping SOPs and quality assurance measures.
  
• Coordinate
  deep cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance activities.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's
  Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
  
• Minimum 5–8 years of housekeeping experience in 5 -star hotels or luxury
  resorts.
  
• Prior
  experience in luxury resort operations will be highly preferred.
  
• Proficiency
  in housekeeping management systems and MS Office.
