Position: Middle School Chemistry Teacher

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience

About the Role

We are looking for a Middle School Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and experience teaching Chemistry at the middle school level, preferably within the ICSE/ Cambridge curriculum.

The teacher will be responsible for making Chemistry concepts engaging and accessible through hands-on activities, experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications while developing students' scientific thinking and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the ICSE curriculum and grade-level learning objectives.


• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and learning resources.


• Explain fundamental Chemistry concepts using practical examples, demonstrations, experiments, and inquiry-based activities.


• Encourage students to develop scientific reasoning, critical thinking, observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments and practical activities while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.


• Integrate real-world applications of Chemistry into classroom teaching to make learning relevant and engaging.


• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.


• Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support or differentiated instruction.


• Encourage students to participate in science projects, exhibitions, competitions, clubs, and other academic activities.


• Collaborate with other subject teachers and academic coordinators for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning.


• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, professional development programmes, and other school initiatives.


• Ensure laboratory equipment, chemicals, and learning resources are used responsibly and safely, in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related subject.


• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification


• 2–5 years of relevant experience teaching Chemistry at the middle school level.


• Prior experience with the ICSE or Cambridge curriculum


• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.


• Familiarity with laboratory-based teaching and practical activities.


• Comfortable using digital tools and technology to support classroom learning.
