Job Description - Installation Cum Service Engineer - Mechanical (Diploma)

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Installation Cum Service Engineer (Mechanical) to support the installation, commissioning, and after-sales service of the G-Gaiter robotic rehabilitation system at customer locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate mechanical installation, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and delivering timely technical support to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities




  • Carry out mechanical installation, assembly, alignment, and commissioning of G-Gaiter systems at customer sites in accordance with company standards.




  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable equipment performance.




  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical faults during installation and service visits.




  • Conduct routine inspections and functional testing to ensure smooth system operation.




  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams during installation, commissioning, and issue resolution.




  • Prepare service reports, installation documentation, and maintenance records after each site visit.




  • Provide basic operational guidance to customers on equipment handling and maintenance.




  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and quality standards while executing field activities.




  • Travel to customer locations across assigned regions for installation, servicing, and emergency support as required.




Qualifications & Skills




  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.




  • 0–2 years of experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, or field service of mechanical equipment. Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.




  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, assemblies, and troubleshooting techniques.




  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.




  • Good problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills.




  • Willingness to travel extensively for field assignments.




  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
