Job Description - Instructional Designer

Job Description:
We are looking for instructional designers having hands-on experience in developing eLearning content and modules in a rapid authoring environment. The candidate must:



  • Possess strong analytical skills.

  • Have the ability to understand complex topics.

  • Develop engaging learning activities.

  • Create compelling course content that is simple, lucid, and enhances retention.

  • The ability to design and develop new-age learning modalities, such as gamified learning, micro-learning, and mobile learning would be an added advantage.



Responsibilities:



  • Work with the Client team to identify the requirements for training intervention.

  • Apply appropriate learning theories, evaluation methods, and best practices with a thorough understanding of learning styles.

  • Remodel the existing content and instructional material based on the practice of the training (WBT or Blended).

  • Utilize best practices in the rapid authoring development environment to create visually engaging and appropriate e-learning interventions.

  • Create media to support learning (e.g., audio-visual aids, supplementary content in various multimedia formats).

  • Develop assessments and learning activities.

  • Ensure that the instructional design output is delivered within expected project timelines.

  • Gather subject matter expert information from multiple sources and ensures all learning interventions meet the needs.

  • Produce new content as required.

  • Instruct the GDs (Graphic Designers) to extract/create your desired assets.


 Qualifications:



  • Experience in Content Development for eLearning, WBT, and Blended learning.

  • Thorough knowledge of rapid authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.

  • Experience in developing learner engagement through advanced interactivities.

  • Knowledge of Tincan (xAPI) and SCORM reporting into Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, BBLearn, or Canvas is preferable.

  • Experience in current instructional technologies and trends.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • · Ability to take additional responsibilities in content development/ web-based training development.

Education:



  • Any Graduate or Post Graduate Degree.
