Investment Manager ( 5 -10 Years)

The Investment Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investment opportunities that align with the organization's strategic and financial objectives. The role involves financial analysis, due diligence, portfolio management, investor relations, and providing recommendations on investment strategies to maximize returns while managing risks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement the organization's investment strategy in line with business goals.


• Identify investment opportunities across various sectors, asset classes, and geographies.


• Conduct market research and economic analysis to support investment decisions.


• Prepare investment proposals and strategic recommendations for management.

2. Financial Analysis & Due Diligence

• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and feasibility studies.


• Analyze financial statements, business plans, and market trends.


• Perform commercial, legal, and operational due diligence on potential investments.


• Assess risks and returns associated with investment opportunities.

3. Investment Execution

• Lead investment transactions from sourcing to closure.


• Coordinate with legal, finance, and external advisors during deal execution.


• Negotiate investment terms, agreements, and partnership structures.


• Prepare investment committee presentations and obtain necessary approvals.

4. Portfolio Management

• Monitor the performance of existing investments and ensure they achieve targeted returns.


• Review portfolio companies' financial and operational performance.


• Develop strategies to enhance portfolio value and optimize returns.


• Recommend divestment or restructuring strategies when necessary.

5. Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Support fundraising initiatives and investor engagement activities.


• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and performance updates for stakeholders.


• Maintain relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and strategic partners.


• Represent the organization in investor meetings and industry events.

6. Risk Management & Compliance

• Evaluate financial, operational, and market risks associated with investments.


• Ensure investments comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.


• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.


• Monitor regulatory developments affecting investment activities.

7. Strategic Advisory

• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership on investment opportunities and capital allocation.


• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.


• Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) / Chartered Accountant (CA) / Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Investment Management.


• Additional certifications in investment management or financial analysis are preferred. 

Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or strategic finance.


• Experience in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction management.


• Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, and portfolio management is preferred.
