Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a global cross -functional team in building customer -centric software products.
  
• Analyze
  existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and
  provide deadline estimates for implementing new features.
  
• Develop
  software applications using core Java (11+), Kafka or messaging
  systems, web frameworks like Struts/Spring, relational (Oracle), and
  non -relational databases (SQL, MongoDB, Hadoop), with RESTful
  microservice architecture.
  
• Implement security and data protection features.
  
• Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks.
  
• Collaborate using Git in a multi -developer team.
  
• Write clean and well -documented code.
  
• Contribute to database design and management, staying current with the latest practices and versions.
  
• Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive -level stakeholders.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience using core Java as a programming language.
  
• REST Microservice development.
  
• Proficiency in Java/Spring and Spring Boot.
  
• Experience with Hazelcast for caching layer and MongoDB for persistence.
  
• Proficiency with Java 8 or above, including Stream APIs.
  
• Exposure to Python.
  
• Understanding of data structures like Array, List, Tree, and Graph.
  
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  
• Familiarity with distributed cache systems (Hazelcast or Redis).
  
• Awareness of Agile methodology.
  
• Experience with RDBMS for occasional persistence tasks.
  
• Knowledge of microservices architecture with interservice communication using proprietary messaging services.
  
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
