Job Description - Java Developer

Job Description: We
are seeking a seasoned Java Developer with additional expertise in
Python to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should
have 7+ years of professional experience in core Java and be well -versed
in various technologies, including Spring Framework, Kafka, and
MongoDB. This role demands strong analytical skills, a keen eye for
detail, and the ability to work in a fast -paced, collaborative
environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a global cross -functional team in building customer -centric software products.
Analyze
existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and
provide deadline estimates for implementing new features.
Develop
software applications using core Java (11+), Kafka or messaging
systems, web frameworks like Struts/Spring, relational (Oracle), and
non -relational databases (SQL, MongoDB, Hadoop), with RESTful
microservice architecture.
Implement security and data protection features.
Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks.
Collaborate using Git in a multi -developer team.
Write clean and well -documented code.
Contribute to database design and management, staying current with the latest practices and versions.
Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive -level stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

7+ years of relevant professional experience using core Java as a programming language.
REST Microservice development.
Proficiency in Java/Spring and Spring Boot.
Experience with Hazelcast for caching layer and MongoDB for persistence.
Proficiency with Java 8 or above, including Stream APIs.
Exposure to Python.
Understanding of data structures like Array, List, Tree, and Graph.
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Familiarity with distributed cache systems (Hazelcast or Redis).
Awareness of Agile methodology.
Experience with RDBMS for occasional persistence tasks.
Knowledge of microservices architecture with interservice communication using proprietary messaging services.
Strong communication skills and work ethic.
Passionate about professional software development.
