Junior Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail -oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for freshers and early -career professionals who are passionate about data, databases, and building reliable data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support data -driven decision -making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines
  
• Collect, clean, transform, and load data from multiple sources
  
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
  
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot data -related issues
  
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
  
• Support data integration and ETL/ELT processes
  
• Collaborate with cross -functional teams to understand data requirements
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes
  
• Learn and implement data engineering best practices
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  
• Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
  
• Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language
  
• Understanding of data structures and data processing concepts
  
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
  
• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
  
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
  
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipelines
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  
• Basic understanding of Data Warehousing
  
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
  
• Internship or academic projects related to data engineering
  
• Exposure to Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
