Junior Embedded engineer ( 1 - 2 Years)

Brief Job Description: The Junior Embedded Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining embedded systems for robotics and automation products. The role involves working closely with hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical teams to design reliable embedded solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and support product development from prototype to deployment. The engineer is expected to contribute to firmware development, hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, documentation, and continuous product improvement while adhering to quality and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded C firmware​


• Interface sensors and peripherals (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN)​


• Debug hardware/software issues​


• Support product testing and documentation​


• Maintain Git repositories and participate in code reviews 

Skills Required :

• Should have strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++ .


•  Solid understanding of microcontrollers such as STM32, ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, AVR, or PIC.


• Knowledge of embedded firmware development, hardware debugging, and communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, and Ethernet.


• Familiarity with digital electronics, circuit design, PCB bring-up, hardware validation, and troubleshooting is essential.


•  Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers, and multimeters, along with proficiency in Git-based version control and embedded development environments like STM32CubeIDE, Keil, IAR, MPLAB, or PlatformIO, is expected.


• Knowledge of RTOS, embedded Linux.


•  Added advantage: Basic Python scripting for automation and testing 

Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline

Experience : 1–2 years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development.
