Job Title: QC Engineer (Quality Control Engineer – Civil)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable IS codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures across all project stages.


• Conduct regular inspections of RCC, masonry, finishing, waterproofing, structural, and allied works.


• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.


• Verify quality of incoming materials through testing and inspection procedures.


• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.


• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, checklists, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action reports.


• Monitor concrete quality, cube testing, reinforcement inspections, shuttering checks, and finishing quality.


• Ensure adherence to relevant IS Codes, safety standards, and project specifications.


• Conduct internal quality audits and site quality reviews.


• Identify construction defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.


• Review contractor quality plans, test reports, and material approvals.


• Assist in handing over projects by ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks.


• Train and guide site teams on quality standards and best construction practices.

Desired Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of RCC works, finishing works, waterproofing, and construction methodologies.


• Thorough understanding of IS Codes, quality standards, and testing procedures.


• Experience in quality documentation, audits, and reporting.


• Knowledge of concrete technology, material testing, and site laboratory procedures.


• Ability to identify defects and implement corrective measures.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and reporting tools.


• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
