Job Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product.


• Developing supplier quality control processes.


• Designing product & internal test control specifications.


• Supervising staff and monitoring vendor parts standards.


• Examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production.


• Rejecting products that fail quality standards.


• Producing statistical reports on quality standards.


• Field failure analysis – EFR / Warranty & initiating actions with interface departments.


• ISO 9001:2015 QMS and TPM

Technical/ Functional:

Technical

• Sound knowledge on supplier quality processes, NCDS & problem solving.


• Good knowledge in Electrical, Propriety & polymer parts.


• Trouble shooting on supplier process issues and analysis.


• Knowledge on vehicle parts functions is must.


• Knowledge on homologation controls is must.

Functional

• Able to administrate team on 5 members.


• Able to educate and motivate teams in achieving the goals and objectives.


• Develop and maintain good harmony and quality culture within and interface functions.

Behavioral

• Excellent attention to detail in problem solving.


• Excellent verbal and written communication.


• Data analysis and statistical aptitude.


• Good interpersonal skills.

Specific expertise required for functional area:

-        NCDS – New Component Development Systems

• Knowledge on electrical, Polymer parts, Propriety parts processes and controls.


• Knowledge on New Model development as per APQP process on Quality roles.
