Laboratory Technician R&D Flavour Creation Lab

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Compounding & Sample Development
1. Compound flavour formulations as requested by the flavourist, in the approved manner, to meet specific customer or in-house project briefs.
2. Coordinate with the flavourist and Regulatory Affairs on formulation and regulatory compliance before compounding.
3. Evaluate blended samples to obtain approval for sample submission.
4. Assist the Application Departments in preparing samples, efficiently and resourcefully, where necessary.
Raw Materials & Samples
5. Acquire raw materials from the production warehouse for compounding, and request samples of new raw materials from affiliates
6. Ensure raw materials in the Sample Lab are stored at the correct temperature and location to safeguard quality and safety.
7. Prepare and submit reference samples (raw materials and flavours) requested by QA.
Lab Upkeep & Records
8. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment in the Creation Lab.
9. Keep lab equipment, glassware and apparatus clean after use.
10. Maintain a list of standard samples blended in the lab.
11. Maintain the Flavour Library.
12. Generate a monthly report of compounding activities.
Compliance & General
13. Comply with all applicable procedures and the legal and other requirements of the organisation.
14. Carry out any additional job-related duties assigned from time to time, when and where necessary.
